In 1969, we developed the world’s very first canned coffee. This idea was inspired by our founder Tadao Ueshima – the ‘father of Japanese coffee’ - while he waited for a train. He was drinking a coffee from a nearby store, which he couldn't take on the train with him. This small moment inspired him to pioneer the very first canned coffee drink.
